James (Jim) Fenton


Jim is known for his passion in the merchant services arena. He knows how to keep his clients at ease by his caring nature and highly communicative style that makes his customers feel supported at every stage of their merchant services experience.

As part owner of PCM Merchant services, Jim knows that customer service excellence is what really sets PCM Merchant services apart from its competition. Everyday Jim gets up ready to serve his client and deliver on his promise of transparency and trust.

He grew up in a family of small business owners and saw what it takes to run a small successful business. He knows first hand that the merchant services industry can be complex and confusing and that businesses can be taken advantage of with unnecessary fees. He is a true crusader when it comes to saving money for his clients and lifting any fog that exists around merchant service solutions. He draws inspiration from the “Thank you” that he gets from his clients when he is able to save them money so they can invest back and grow their business.

Jim holds a B.A. in Sociology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. He resides in Littleton, MA with his lovely wife and his son and daughter.

As a Freemason, Jim exudes strength of character, a strong moral compass and as a life long learner is always seeking to broaden his skills and knowledge.

Mark Zepf

Director of Operations

Mark is an industry leader in the Merchant Services industry. He has been working with PCM Merchant Services since 2016 in the capacity of Operations/Technology Director.

With every step in the merchant services process, he is known to provide exceptional customer service. He expertly addresses and anticipates customer challenges and issues before they arise and proactively solves them. 

Mark is dedicated to supporting, servicing and relieving the stress that many business owners face when dealing with their merchant services. He goes above and beyond for each and every client. He has even been known to throw off his jacket, roll up his sleeves and crawl under desks to run cables just so a client can be up and running quicker. As a resulted he has established high customer retention and raving loyal customers. 

He is an exceptional problem solver that is willing to truly take the time to find the correct answer for his client that results in many money saving approaches.

Mark was born and raised in Cambridge, MA and takes pride in supporting his local community where he spends his time with family and friends. You can see him out coaching his son’s baseball games and is always the first to lend a hand at Cambridge community cleanup days. 

Mark loves to work with businesses that are located in Cambridge and surrounding areas as he feels that if he can find just the right solution for a local merchant he is contributing and giving back to his community’s growth and success of its local small business.

Mark holds Bachelors degree in Sociology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is an active member of his BNI chapter located in Cambridge.

Bruce Patz


Bruce is the owner of PCM Merchant Services and has over 22 years of experience in the payroll industry. His expertise in Human Capital Management, Time and Attendance, Payroll Processing, and Payment Processing has been critical to the success of many small business owners in and around the Boston area. With this extensive knowledge, Bruce consistently looks for opportunities to support his clients. Bruce leads by example. He knows that it is competitive out there.  He shows his team as well as his clients that by practicing excellence in customer service and superior problem solving PCM Merchant Services has been clearly distinguishing themselves from others in the industry. 
Bruce grew up in a hard-working family from the Boston suburbs and learned at an early age that it takes hard work and integrity to accomplish goals. Bruce holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Business Management from The University of Michigan and earned his CPA certification in 1994. As a CPA, he is a well-respected strategic business advisor and decision-maker.
He resides in Needham, MA with his lovely wife and three daughters. Some of his passions include coaching youth sports, travel, and dining at Boston area restaurants.
He is always happy to speak to clients directly about the merchant services industry especially to help them demystify what can be a complex and confusing business. Bruce gets real joy when clients save money and time so they can re-invest in their business and spend more time doing the things they love away from work.
